Come nella mia terra adottiva, la Sardegna, anche qui mi piange il cuore a vedere rifiuti abbandonati per strada, nei campi ed in spiaggia. Paradisi terrestri rovinati dalla scarsa cura dell’ambiente.
Faccio un gran fatica a non differenziare la spazzatura, fortunatamente nei posti in cui siamo state ospitate almeno l’organico viene usato per fare il compost per l’orto.
E vista l’alta percentuale di vecchi furgoni un po’ malconci, presumo che passare la revisione auto non sia così difficile.
Una cosa invece che mi ha stupito positivamente é la presenza di piste ciclabili ovunque, sia nella caotica San Paolo che nei piccoli centri abitati come Ubatuba e Setiba, altroché Milano!
Ma non essendo dotata di due ruote, passeggio accompagnata dal fedele cagnolino di turno.

As happens in my adopted country Sardinia, I feel very bad seeing garbage left along the streets, fields and on the beach.
Paradise on earth ruined by environment careless. It’s really hard for me don’t recycle, luckily most of the hostel use organic waste to prepare compost for the garden.
And considering the hight number of old VW vans in bad condition, I suppose they don’t need to pass any car review.
One thing however that surprised me positively is the presence of bike paths everywhere, both in the busy Sao Paulo than in small towns like Ubatuba and Setiba. Since I have no bike, I walk with the faithful dog on duty.
