Esausta dalla vita frenetica di queste ultime due settimane (eh eh) ho preso un paio di giorni di “ferie” per visitare Cabo Frio, la settima città più antica del Brasile, fondata dai portoghesi nel 1615, che si trova a circa 180 km a nord di Rio de Janeiro.
Dopo una lunga camminata tra le dune sulla spiaggia, mi sono persa nelle vie del centro storico ricche di bar, ristoranti e negozi. Non è alta stagione, ma ci sono tanti turisti sudamericani…ma nessun turista europeo, peccato, perché il posto è proprio carino e merita una tappa.

Exhausted by the busy life of those last two week I took a brake to visit Cabo Frio, the 7th ancient Brazilian town, founded by Portuguese in 1615, just 180 km far from Rio de Janeiro.
After a long walk through the dunes along the beach, I get lost in the old town streets, full of restaurants, pubs and shops. It isn’t high season but there are some south american tourist. What a pity we didn’t met any European tourist so far, because this place really worth a stopover.
